Esther Chu, MA, RCC, CCC

It's a pleasure to meet you! When it comes to healing and/or pushing through challenges in life, it is normal wish for someone to walk alongside you. Whether your area of concern be surrounding mental health challenges, exploring the many parts of your identity that make you who you are, processing traumas, or learning new personal skills, I will join you on your journey towards clarity, understanding, and moving forward. There is no one right way to make steps towards your goal, but together we will find your path.

I am a counsellor who is familiar working with and navigating areas such as intergenerational and interpersonal trauma, identity exploration, bicultural stress as well as various mental health challenges including, but not limited to: ADHD, Grief, Depression, and Anxiety. My work is grounded by the understanding that we, as people, are a walking mosaic of our lived experiences as well as the experiences we did not receive.

As a counsellor, I work to learn your own individual strengths and how we can reach your goals in a way that makes sense for you given the context of your life. I view counselling as a collaborative process as we explore different ways to get you where you'd like to be. I bring a balance of talk-therapy and experiential therapy work to help you in a way that is meaningful to you.
